Blood Types and Brain Function

I remember a few years ago there were some articles circulating that said your blood type could affect your ability to lose weight. I think that idea pretty much fizzled out.

Now, scientific research is showing a link between blood types and brain function.

The article was published in Scientific American, so it can be taken seriously.

Speaking of blood types, I found this informative graphic that lists which blood types can receive transfusions from other blood types.

You can read the article for yourself to find out about blood types and links to dementia, heart disease and other problems.

Here are some interesting risks related to blood types:

  • People with O blood type may be more likely to have depression and intense anxiety; children may be at a greater risk of attention-deficit disorder.
  • People with A blood type may be more prone to obsessive-compulsive disorder; children may be at a greater risk of attention-deficit disorder.
  • Children with B blood type may have a lower risk of attention-deficit disorder.
